Final days before, and the first days of "OUR FIRST GRANDBABY!!

Upon our return to Calgary, you can see Sara and Jean are beyond ready to have

their first baby!

And shortly after, SHE IS HERE!!

Audrey Marie arrives!

Wednesday, September 17th, after 35 hours of labour and finally a c-section :(, Audrey Marie arrived to Sara and Jean at the Peter Lougheed Hospital at 13:53pm.

She weighed in at 8 lbs 1 oz and measured 20.5 inches!

And she IS beautiful!!!

Vic and I are thrilled to be grandparents!!

So tiny!

and attentive!

Audrey and her Daddy who as you can see, is already very much in love with his little girl!

 

Just a week old!

Just 11 days old, and she has definitely already grown and wrapped herself around all of our hearts!

What a precious miracle.

Welcome Audrey Marie.

Grandma and Grandpa love you so much already!

Katie and Sam's big news!!

Yeah!  Katie and Sam are engaged!! 

Wedding date to be determined, but early summer of 2016 is the current plan!!

We are all very excited!!!

And here we are back in Calgary, and look at the beautiful winter weather!??

It's September 9th - how crazy is this?

 But, Katie and Sam's other big news is that they've bought a house!!

And it's a beauty!

And we get to help them move in! :)

They've done their walk-through and now we get to see it too!

Farewell to the cottage for another season

As the sunsets get earlier and earlier

and cars are allowed in the beach area again

it's time to pack up and say good-bye

Our nephew Nick came out this year to help Dad drive home from the lake to Alberta - and they're gone

Now time to give Mom and Dad a hand with the final packing

and say our farewells

and they're off!

Now it's our turn to pack up and leave the beach

a couple more fond walks to the water and the sunsets

with our wonderful P.J.

And the sun sets on another wonderful summer at Victoria Beach!

and on to our next new adventure!!
