So, after 2 days at sea, (and who knows how many pounds gained with the delicious meals), we have arrived at our first Port of Call in Colombia.
After meandering through Cartagena's lovely greeting area, including flora and fauna galore, and of course the prerequisite souvenir shops,
we found a tour bus that was short 4 people - perfect for Kitti, Larry and us! And we were off to explore the city!
Our tour bus guide Cony was a wealth of information,
and brought us to see several great monuments, as well as Cartagena's original Fort, which protected the port city.

And in Old Town, Kitti and I did some souvenir shopping as we wandered
enjoying the fresh vendor stalls we have come to enjoy throughout Mexico
The streets were gorgeous and had a definite European flare, with small cobbled roadways
and beautiful vegetation that tropical weather makes possible
some artwork maybe a little odd by my standards, but lovely in its own way and larger than life!

And before heading back to the ship, we enjoyed a free beer at the Cartagena Hard Rock Cafe!
