Mary Walberg has headed up a new program whereby some of the kids that need it most are receiving English classes. In order to raise funds to make this happen, an amazing dessert night came to pass!
For less than $10. we each received 3 pieces of a choice of about 20 desserts (very hard to pick), and the money raised goes to help with their educations.
A great group of women baked and served too!
And we were at a beautiful restaurant in Chelem, Yucatan, just West of Progreso called Soma. Apparently their food is excellent too, but they provided the venue for the event.
And the Zumba instructors entertained us with a lively ance in some very gorgeous costumes.
We will be back to sample the fair!
