So, after a hot, sticky but wonderfully fun day in Merida with our friends Wayne and Suzanna, the pool back at Neek Kaan feels pretty amazing! The pool has been completely refinished this year and will therefor not need to be painted again! And it is so refreshing!
Then a quick run back to the house to see where the crew got to after our day away - yeah, lots of progress!
The walls are on their way up for our laundry/linen closet off the bathroom
Juan Carlos has been slaving on it!
And the bathroom floor has been poured with the lower level for the shoer area, and it looks like, other than where the tiles will go on, the third coat of the cement has been applied (at the window level and up)
The wiring has been laid for the bar area
And the backyard bathroom is really coming along!
All in all, it was a marvelous day to run away for a bit, and come back to enjoy progress. :)
